Details about context, goal, audience and task:
- “I want to create an email campaign for 2 months and send 3 emails per week to my newsletter subscribers, which are health enthusiasts who are always looking for easy health tips they can implement into their busy daily life. Every week should cover one health issue and 2 of the weekly emails should contain interesting information and tips about the weekly topic, as well as a link to my lead magnet, an ebook called “Healthy on Plants”. The third email should sell an affiliate product that can help with this specific weekly topic issue. Next, I will give you a list of the 8 topics for the 2 months as well as a list of affiliate products.”
Best ChatGPT Prompts for Subject lines:
- “You are an expert copywriter as well as a direct marketing expert with over 20 years of experience writing engaging newsletters and blog posts. Based on the content I have given you, generate a list of 3 persuasive email subject lines per email that will increase the open rate. Make sure the email subject line ideas are concise, readable and attention-grabbing.”
- Now write a short description of the email content you would suggest for all 24 emails. An idea for the 2 informational emails per week would be to answer two of the most asked questions about the health topic of the week.

Best ChatGPT Prompts For Writing Blog Articles
If you’re focusing on SEO and on getting discovered on Google, it’s helpful to have a content strategy which allows you to cover most topics in your niche to gain so-called “topic authority”. A Topical Map can help you to find the topics and keywords which, if covered with your blog articles, will show Google that you are an expert in this field and will make it more likely for your articles to be shown.
Best ChatGPT Prompts for Creating a Topical Map:
Here are 3 prompts I learned from Matt Diggity (link) that will help you to create a Topical Map and give you ideas for topics and keywords for future articles:
- “Give me 30 semantically relevant, but unique topics under the main category of [niche]”
- “Reduce each down to 3-5 words”
- “Give me 10-30 different keyword variations of “[niche topic No.3]” that address a different search intent.
Best ChatGPT Prompts for Blog Articles
Step 1: Niche Topic Ideas
Prompt Ideas:
- “Give me ideas for blog posts on [topic/issue]”
- “What are the 10 most talked about topics in [niche/topic]?”
- “Write for every topic the 3 most asked questions and the 3 biggest fears and frustrations.”
- “Give me 10 blog title ideas for a post about [insert subject] for [audience] whose pain points are [pain points]. ”
Step 2: Give context and ask which information ChatGPT needs
Prompt:
- “I want to write a blog article with the title “ChatGpt Guide: Prompt Engineering for Beginners” which explains the basics of Prompt Engineering and how to get the best results when using ChatGPT for creating an outline and for writing the article. The keywords* I want to be included in this article: ChatGPT Guide, prompt engineering and prompt engineering for beginners. Please write an outline for the article, covering all topics that prompting beginners would find interesting and include the keywords. Is there any additional information you need from me to be able to craft a good outline?
*(for me the instruction to add keywords didn’t produce the desired outcome in ChatGPT 4. Maybe it’s necessary to add a density to make him understand how often to include the keyword or maybe it helps to just use one keyword and to tell ChatGPT to use it as focus keyword).
Asking ChatGPT if there are more information required was a good prompt and produced this answer:
ChatGPT: It would be helpful to understand a few things about your intended audience and goals:
- Audience Understanding: Who is your primary audience? Are they completely new to AI and chatbots, or do they have some foundational knowledge?
- Application Focus: Are you aiming to cover general use cases (like creative writing, coding help, and daily tasks) or specific applications (e.g., academic research, business analytics)?
- Depth of Coverage: How detailed do you want each section to be? Are you looking for a high-level overview, or do you intend to dive into examples and case studies?
- Interactive Components: Do you plan to include interactive examples or prompts that readers can try out themselves?
- Technical Complexity: How technical can the article get? Should it remain accessible to a layperson, or can it include some jargon and complex concepts?
Step 3: Outline
Prompt Ideas:
- “I want you to help me write a blog post. The goal is to rank this blog post on the first page of google search results for the keyword [target keyword]. The keyword [target keyword] is going to be the “focus keyword”.
- First I want to create the outline of this blog post. Give me 5 – 15 categories to compare these products in.”
- “Write an outline for a blog post about [topic]. Include the keywords [keywords] in the headline and subheadings.”
Step 4: Title ideas
Prompts:
- “Provide 10 blog topic titles for articles about [improving eyesight]”
- “Give me 5 variations on the topic title: [title]”
Step 5: Writing the Blog Article
Prompt Ideas:
- Now please write the content for the topic [topic]. Make sure that you use the focus keyword. The writing style should be informative, to the point and easy to understand. Also tell me where it would make sense to add images.
- Now write the final part of this blog post, the conclusion.
- Now write a short intro for this blog post. Make sure to use the focus keyword in the first part.
Step 6: How to Humanize AI Text
Using ChatGPT or other AI writers might lead to good quality texts, but if you’re trying to also rank your articles or websites on Google, you need to check them with AI detectors like Quillbot, Originality 3.0 (link), Turnitin or GTPZero.
If they show that most of the text is “Generated by AI” or “AI-generated and rephrased”, you might want to use an AI Humanizer like Quillbot or Undetectable.ai(link) to humanize your texts or blog articles. You can learn more about AI Humanizers and check out my “3 Best AI Humanizer picks” in this article (link).
But be careful, if you see they sacrificed text quality for less AI detectability, you might need to rephrase some sentences yourself to make them sound better and more natural.
